Whiskey Wednesday: Jenny Lavarda

Jenny just sent  Solo per Vecchi Guerrieri. It’s in the Dolomites and it’s 500 feet tall. It has four pitches that all clock in at or higher than 5.12 with the hardest of them being 5.14c/d. She did this because she’s a badass Italian.
I’ve never wanted to be a badass Italian girl so much.

We are a little upset over here at P&C. I don’t feel like a whole lot of badass climbing has been happening lately. I mean there are a few things. Like that V16 that old guy did in that other country. Cedar is getting Whiskey Wednesday for a few reasons. First and foremost because he promised to buy me a special tonight at the downer. Beyond that though Cedar has begun teaching me the finer more nuanced parts of the climbing life. I have no idea what it must be like to be a pro climber.
