Deep Breath, Here goes….

Boys from the states have been crushing in the land of Tea, Elton John, Polo, and girls like this. Kevin Jorgeson, Alex Honnold and Matty Segal have been and are eating Gritstone with their toast and beans. Englanders are slack-jawed bumfuzzeled at the sight of these beloved E-whatevers going down with ease. The list goes as follows: The New Statesman (E8 7a, Jorgeson), The Parthian Shot (E9 6c, Jorgeson, first ground-up, badass, secret agent shit E9 ascent), The Promise (E10 7a, Jorgeson and Honnold, piece of cake ascents), Gaia (E8 6c, Honnold FLASH, Jorgeson and Matt Segal headpoints), Meshuga (E9 6c, solos by Honnold and Jorgeson), The Groove (E10 7b, Jorgeson). For all the info check ukclimbing.com, climbing.com, and kevinjorgeson.com.

In other news of BAMF shit that has gone down in the past few whiskey wednesdays, he is no stranger to a sourmash shot held high in his honor on this site, but he keeps thrusting forward into the limelight, Joe Kinder deserves recognition this week for completing a new 14c in the Red River Gorge. Southern Smoke looks sick, nice job Joe!

Another Whiskey Wednesday recipient deserves props this week for crushing on a recent trip to the Southern US climbing arenas. Our brother in arms, Sean Dossett coming off a second ascent of a Chandler Park V12 decided to head to the dirty dirty and make cheesy breezy ascents including flashing v8, sending 5 v9s, and making quick work of a v10. Cheers Sean.

Okay, if there is anything else that I have missed, well sorry! Shoot me an email for other BAMF goings on that deserve the prestigious and awesome Whiskey Wednesday award. Cheers

I second the whiskey Wednesday cheers to Sean… That mofo crushed it! Some of the best climbing days I’ve ever had.
